- Reboot the server (for updating the Deploy Kit) or workstation (for updating a workstation)
- Set the appropriate NTFS permissions for the user or give the user local administrator rights
Note: You can also run Process Monitor to determine which directories/files need permission changes
- Run the REREGISTER.EXE utility
- Manually update the workstation by running Setup.exe from the Deploy package on the server
- Uninstall and reinstall the Raiser's Edge 7 on the workstation
- If the issue is occurring on multiple workstations, then reboot the server where the Blackbaud Management Console is located
