Try each of the following steps in order until the error is resolved:
  1. Grant the Windows user local administrator rights to their workstation.
  2. Grant the Windows user Read/Execute rights to the Deploy Kit folder.
  3. Locate and rename the BBUpdate.ini file on the workstation (example:  ~BBUpdate.ini), and manually update the workstation by browsing to the Deploy Kit folder on the server and running Setup.exe
  4. If it occurring for all workstations, then update the Deploy Kit on the server before accessing the program from the workstation.
  5. Verify that the Blackbaud software is not installed as a standalone version on the workstation. If it is, then uninstall (The Financial Edge / The Raiser's Edge) and then re-install on the workstation by running Setup.exe from your Deploy folder.
