The reminder history keeps track of the reminders that are sent for a pledge using the Reminders function in Mail. The pledge reminder history is not editable.

To open the reminder history, follow these steps:

  1. Open the original pledge gift record.
  2. On the Gift tab of the pledge, click History to the right of the Send reminders checkbox.


The fields listed in the reminder history are as follows:

  • Reminder Sent: The date the reminder was sent. It is populated with the run date entered in the reminders parameters.
  • Pledge Due On:
    • If this pledge is a master pledge or if it is a recurring gift and the reminders were processed using the One per pledge option, this value is the pledge date.
    • If this pledge is a master pledge or if it is a recurring gift and the reminders were processed using the One per installment, this value is the installment date.
    • If this pledge is a regular pledge (only has one installment), this value is the gift date of the pledge.
  • Amount:
    • If this pledge is a master pledge or if it is a recurring gift and the reminders were processed using the One per pledge option, this value is the amount of the master pledge.
    • If this pledge is a master pledge or if it is a recurring gift and the reminders were processed using the One per installment, this value is the amount of each installment listed.
    • If this pledge is a regular pledge (only has one installment), this value is the amount of the pledge.
  • Reminder Balance
    • If this pledge is a master pledge or if it is a recurring gift, this value is the balance of the installment or master pledge listed in that row at the time the pledge reminder was processed in Mail.
    • If this pledge is a regular pledge (only has one installment), this value is the balance of the pledge.
