Create a query using the <ask> operator for constituency code by installing the sample constituency code query.

To find constituents with a specific constituency code:

  1. Create a Constituent query
  2. On the Criteria tab, select: Constituency, Constituent Code equals [the constituency code]

To find constituents with a specific constituency code and with only one constituency code:

  1. Create a Constituent query
  2. On the Criteria tab, select:
Constituency, Constituent Code equals [the constituency code]
AND Constituency, Total Constituencies equals 1

To find constituents with a specific constituency code but not another specific one (for example, current parents who are not alumni):

  1. Create a Constituent query (Query A). On the Criteria tab, select Constituency, Constituency Code equals [the constituency code to have on the constituent record]
  2. Create a Constituent query (Query B). On the Criteria tab, select Constituency, Constituency Code equals [the constituency code to not have on the constituent record]
  3. Merge the queries with Query A as the primary, Query B as the secondary, and SUB as the operator
For example, to find constituents who are current parents, but not alumni:
  1. Create a Constituent query (Query A). On the Criteria tab, select Constituency, Constituency Code equals Current Parent.
  2. Create a Constituent query (Query B). On the Criteria tab, select Constituency, Constituency Code equals to Alumni.
  3. Merge the queries with Query A as the primary, Query B as the secondary, and SUB as the operator

To find constituents who have multiple constituency codes:

  1. Create a new Constituent query.
  2. On the Criteria tab, select Constituency, Total Constituencies greater than or equal to 2.

To find constituents who have a specific number of constituency codes:

  1. Create a new Constituent query.
  2. On the Criteria tab, select Constituency, Total Constituencies equal to [the number of constituent codes]. For example, if they must have five constituent codes, enter 5.

To find constituents with all specified constituency codes:

  1. Create a new Constituent query.
  2. On the Criteria tab, select Constituency, Constituent Code one of [each of the specific constituency codes] and mark the Each record must meet all specified criteria checkbox.
To find constituents with relationship to constituents with a specific constituency code:
  1. Create a new constituent query.
  2. On the Criteria tab, select Relationships > Individuals (or Organization) > Constituency > Constituency Code equals [specific constituency code].
