Try each of the following steps (in order) until the issue is resolved:
  1. Ensure that you are able to log into the Raiser's Edge on the RE7Service web server (Raiser's Edge Web Service server).
  2. Check the location of the deploy folder by opening regedit (Start > Run > regedit) and checking one of the following paths, depending on your operating system:
    • 32bit ... [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Blackbaud\Raiser's Edge\7.0\InstallSource]
    • 64bit ... [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Blackbaud\Raiser's Edge\7.0\InstallSource]
  3. If this is a network location, verify that you can access the folder. If not or access is slow, copy the deploy folder to the local machine and edit the key value to reflect the new location.
  4. Ensure that you can access the RE7Service /masterservice.asmx URL from the RE7Service web server.
