Journal entry batch is empty in The Financial Edge after posting from The Raiser's Edge

Journal entry batch is empty or wasn't created in The Financial Edge after posting from The Raiser's Edge.  The batch shows posted in The Raiser's Edge.

Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.

The cumulative patches prevent the issue from occurring. To correct the affected batches:

 
  1. In General Ledger, click Journal Entry.
  2. Verify the journal entry batch was not created (or is blank).
  3. If a blank journal entry batch was created in General Ledger, delete that batch.
  4. If locally hosted then Manually Update/Repair The Raiser's Edge workstation.
  5. Run the Unpost Gifts Utility in The Raiser's Edge.
  6. Re-post the gifts.

Alternative solutions:

Import the CSV file of gifts to post into The Financial Edge.

OR

  1. Exit and sign out of The Raiser's Edge
  2. Log back into the program.
