When creating a new receipt template, users find that the Send to Word Merge Wizard button and eReceipts tab are missing. This occurs when using The Raiser's Edge 7-BBNC Plug-in link in Blackbaud Hosting Services. It also occurs when users have not selected "Create a custom data file" on the General tab of the receipt template.
If The Raiser's Edge is hosted, make sure you use the general The Raiser's Edge 7 link instead of the BBNC Plug-in link. The BBNC Plug-in link uses a server that does not have MS Word installed.
Also, on the General tab, select "Create a custom data file" under Receipt Type.
