R68 report hangs
R68 report processes slowly
We resolved this issue in version 7.91.5056, patch 9. Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.
Alternative Solutions:
1.   Run Update Gift Status from within Admin prior to running the R68 report – when you then run the report unmark the option ‘Update eligibility of all unclaimed gifts before generating report’.   An abridged version of the eligibility report will still run to ensure that there are no unclaimed gifts considered where the time limit has expired.
2.   Create a gift query with the parameters (e.g. date range, filters etc) and then select this query on the General tab of the R68 report.
3.   If the above steps do not resolve it, run the report for smaller ranges (2 or 3 months at a time), assign the same claim number to each date range. Run the ‘Rerun tax claims’ report based on this claim number, send this report to HMRC to claim gift aid.
