This error, Error: The record specified could not be found.  The record has either been deleted or you do not have rights to view it, may occur when validating or posting in the General Ledger or from any subledger using a new or saved post parameter:

Steps to Duplicate

  1. From any subledger, select Administration > Post.  
  2. Select New Post Parameter.  
  3. On the Filters tab, set the appropriate dates and filters.  
  4. Select Validate or Post > Error: The record specified could not be found. The record has either been deleted or you do not have rights to view it.
