The row with the asterisk is the current status and cannot be deleted.

If the record has multiple Applications or multiple Enrollments, the status log will have more than one current status which results in more than one row with an asterisk.

To remove the row with the asterisk, either:

Edit the Current Status, Status Date, or Status Reason on the main record and save. A newly added/edited Status, Status Date, or Status Reason will add another new row to the Status Log as the current status row and will now have the asterisk.

OR

Delete the corresponding Application or Enrollment from the record. Once an application or enrollment is deleted, the status log entry with the asterisk will be automatically removed. Note: The Application or Enrollment that is marked as Active cannot be removed from the record and at least one must be marked as Active.
