1. Locate and open the original file on the computer where it is stored
(NOTE: If you are unable to open the file on your computer, please consult with your IT staff to see if a backup of the file can be restored.)
2. Use Save as to create a new copy of the file
3. Re-add the new document to the Media tab on the Constituent's record and the document should now open successfully
Add the document as a file type other than .pdf (ie: Microsoft Word document)
Within Adobe Reader, turn off the Protected Mode.
