When a event is linked to a form and a description exists on The Raiser's Edge event record, that description will populate on the form to start. However, if you need to update or revise the event description, that can be done directly on the form.

Event Registration Form Part:
  1. Log into the NetCommunity site and navigate to the event registration form page, or locate the form in Site Explorer > Parts.
  2. Click the wheel icon to edit the new event registration form part
  3. Click Edit
  4. Click the Edit link for the event in the Add Events section
  5. Enter a description in the description field at the top of the window. This description will show here:
  6. Click the Arrow icon for the pricing option in the Event price options section
  7. Enter a pricing option description in the description field. This description will show here:
  8. Click the Save button
  9. Click the Save button for the event form
  10. Optionally, log back into The Raiser's Edge and update the description on the event record using the updated description from step 5.
Note: Basic html may be added to the Description in the new Event Registration Form part

Event Registration Form (Classic) Part:
  1. Log into the NetCommunity site and navigate to the event registration form page, or locate the form in Site Explorer > Parts.
  2. Click the wheel icon to edit the new event registration form part
  3. Enter a description in the Display description field in the Events from the Raiser's Edge section. This description will show here:  
    • Note: This will need to be done for each event in the form. Click the drop down for Select Event to change and edit another event.
  4. Click the Save button for the event form.
  5. Optionally, log back into The Raiser's Edge and update the description on the event record using the updated description from step 3.
Note: The Event Registration Form (Classic) does not allow for HTML to be added to the Display Description.
