1. Enter the personalized message in the gift record under one of the following areas:
    • In the Reference field of the Gift tab
    • In a Notepad under the Miscellaneous tab
  2. In Mail, click Honor/Memorial Letters and create a new letter.
  3. In the Fields to Include tab, Select to send one letter 'Per Gift.'
  4. Select either the Reference or Gift Notes field, depending on where your personalized message is stored under.
  5. Insert the field into the Word Merge Document.
