When installing the Blackbaud product user receives a 'Windows script host: There is no file extension in [path]' error message.
Complete the following steps in the order listed below until the issue is resolved:
1. Log into workstation as Administrator (default Windows account). 2. Ensure that .NET 2.0 is installed 3. Ensure that the Windows Installer service is started. 4. Change User variables for the Windows account logged onto the computer to a different location such as C:\Windows\Temp by completing the following steps: a) Right-click on My Computer, select Properties b) Select the Advanced tab and click on the Environment Variables button c) Change the path for TEMP and TMP to a different location such as C:\Windows\Temp.
