Try each of the following steps in order until the issue is resolved:
- Ensure the correct credit card type is selected.
- Ensure the correct credit card number is entered:
- AmEx begins with 3.
- Visa begins with 4.
- Mastercard begins with 5.
- Discover begins with 6.
- Select a Business Rules option to allow gifts to be saved without a complete credit card number. If importing, select Save record anyway.
- If using a batch, delete the gift row and re-enter it.
