Try each of these steps in order until the issue is resolved:
  1. Stop the Print Spooler Windows Service.
  2. Attempt to log in: If the session no longer hangs, continue to step number 3.  If the problem still occurs, proceed to step number 5.
  3. Restart the Print Spooler Windows Service and delete all locally installed printers.
  4. Reinstall each printer one by one, logging in between each installation, to determine which printer driver was causing the problem.
  5. Uninstall and re-install the Citrix Metaframe Client.
