- Reboot the workstation.
- Rename the BBUpdate.ini to BBUpdate.old (generally located in the C:\Program Files\Blackbaud\The Raisers Edge 7 folder).
- Log back into The Raiser's Edge.
- Log onto the computer with a different Windows account that has local administrator rights and attempt to log in. If the issue does not occur, then re-create the Windows profile for the affected user.
- Manually update/repair the workstation.
- Uninstall and re-install The Raiser's Edge.
- Ensure the installed version of Internet Explorer is compatible with the version of Raiser's Edge. For more information , see applicable system requirements.
- Repair the installation of Internet Explorer.
