1. Create an adjustment opposite of the original adjustment.
2. Set the bank adjustment to Do Not Post to correct the statement and register out of balance issue.

Example:

A Deposit bank adjustment was created to correct the out of balance amount between General Ledger and the Bank Register.

Since the Deposit must be cleared, but does not exist in the actual statement, the Register and Statement are now out of balance by this amount.

To correct the issue, create a Payment bank adjustment to offset the deposit, setting it to Do Not Post so that it does not affect General Ledger.
