How to Add a Batch Template

  1. Go to Administration > Batch Entry
  2. Click the Batch Templates link in the upper left hand corner and click Add. 
    1. Double click what batch template you will use. If you are importing records to be wealth screened it is RECOMMENDED to use a CONSTITUENT UPDATE BATCH
      • Name the Batch Template
      • Description (optional)
      • Workflow Name (same as the batch type)
      • Numbering Scheme (same as the batch type)
    2. Select Fields and Defaults
      • Choose the Batch Type - this will determine which fields are available for mapping
      • Choose the appropriate fields that will be added in this batch template. Any fields not moved to the right side will be able to added in the batch.

    3. Specify Commit Options:
      • Select the preferences that will be used on the batch commit windows. Note: these may be changed later.
    4. Set Permissions
      • Assigns roles for which users can access and use the batch template
    5. Confirm and Save - confirm your options

How to Edit a Batch Template

  1. Go to Administration > Batch Entry and click on the Batch Templates link
  2. Highlight the Batch Template to edit
  3. Click Edit on the Action Bar
  4. Make the appropriate changes to the name, workflow, fields, or user roles
  5. Save

How to Delete or Inactivate a Batch Template

  1. Go to Administration > Batch Entry and click on the Batch Templates link
  2. Highlight the appropriate Batch Template
  3. Click Delete or Mark Inactive on the Action Bar
    1. Deleting a batch will remove the Template from the system
    2. Marking a batch template as inactive will remove the template from the list of options to choose but can be accessed and reactivated later (How to activate a Batch Template)
