The bottoms of the letters are being cut off when previewing or printing Reports or Mail. This is usually noticed in the letters "g, j, p, q and y".
Typically, this is due to using a larger than the default font size. We do our best to auto-size the text boxes that contain the various elements present on Reports and Mailings. However, the larger to font, the less room we have to adjust the formatting and some pieces will truncate slightly at the higher font sizes.
1. Open the Report or Mail item with the cut off letters 2. Select the Format tab and highlight Miscellaneous 3. Reduce the Font size until the bottoms of the letters appear Note: In the case of Labels, use the Label Truncation report in Raiser's Edge or Education Edge/Blackbaud Student Information System to fix the spacing.
1. Click Tools>User Options>Reports or Mail tab 2. Reduce default Font size until letters fit onto Report or Mailing. 3. Click Apply. 4. Click OK.
If the above steps don't resolve the issue, this could be an issue with your particular printer or print driver in which case you should perform the following steps:
1. Uninstall the current printer driver. 2. Reinstall with the latest version of the printer driver.
