First, make sure that your new user has an account on www.blackbaud.com.  This is required to use the ResearchPoint system.  If they do not have an account, please have your site's site administrator create one with the following instructions: How do I invite (add) a user to Blackbaud.com?: If your organization is an NXT subscriber and your user already has access to Raiser's Edge NXT, this has already been done.

After you've verified that your new user has access to www.blackbaud.com, use the steps below to grant access to ResearchPoint:
  1. Login to Research Point
  2. In the toolbar across the top, click Administration
  3. In the ensuing window, click "Application Users"
  4. Click the +Add button
  5. Fill in the name of the person you are adding in the name field
  6. Fill in the email address of the person you are adding
  7. Pick the roles you wish that person to have in ResearchPoint.  
  8. Click Save & Invite
The new user will receive an email with a subject of "Welcome to ResearchPoint" which contains instructions. 

To login to ResearchPoint after your new user's initial login, have them browse and login to www.blackbaud.com.  Hover your mouse over the word Blackbaud in the upper left corner and click on the drop down for "ResearchPoint."
