Current Students that will be re-enrolled in the School for the following year will need a Student Progression Entry for the next year. The Student Progression Entry tells the system what school and grade level the student will be in for the year in which the Student will be enrolled.
Run the Mark for Reenrollment Wizard. This wizard populates the Student Progression Entry on the Student's record. Once the student is assigned a Student Progression Entry for the year in which they are being promoted, they can be placed in the next grade level by running the End of Year Processing Wizard. The End of Year Processing wizard will change the Current Grade on the Bio 1 tab of the Student record so the student then shows as currently enrolled in the grade level listed on the Student Progression Entry that matches the year in which the Student was promoted.
NOTE: Do not run the End of Year Processing Wizard until all Report Card or Transcripts which print the Current Grade for the previous year are complete, as the grade listed would reflect the grade level the student will be in next year, not the grade level the student was in for the previous year.
