Confirm the user record is part of a WebPortal group: 
  1. Log in as a Supervisor or a user with Supervisor rights
  2. In Administration, click Set up system security
  3. Open the appropriate Webportal security group or create a new group if one does not exist. 
  4. Add a name, description and change the Group Type to WebPortal
  5. Under System Components, mark Accounts Payable 
  6. Under Accounts Payable, mark Records and click Options
  7. Mark the appropriate record types for WebPurchasing and WebInvoicing
  8. Save and close the group
  9. Open the appropriate user record
  10. Add the user to the WebPortal security group
Confirm the user has Online Security rights:
  1. In Administration, click Set up system security, open the user record
  2. On the user Information tab, select either User can only access online modules or User can access The Financial Edge and online modules from the User Type drop-down list.
  3. On the Online Security tab, mark the Online Systems the user has rights to.
  4. Save and close the user
Note: Users must exit and sign out of The Financial Edge and then log back in before the security changes will take effect.
