Try each of the following steps in order until the issue is resolved:

  1. Check with other users to ensure the record is not open by another user, as this will prevent changes from being saved.
  2. Have all other users exit and sign out of The Raiser's Edge.
  3. Disable the time-out feature in The Raiser's Edge (BB700588). If this feature is enabled, the group will error after 15 minutes of syncing.
  4. Assign the necessary rights to the appropriate user group:
    1. In ResearchPoint, navigate to Prospects, The Raiser's Edge integration.
    2. Click Edit credentials and take note of the username listed for integration.
    3. Log into The Raiser's Edge as a user with access to Admin, Security. (it may be necessary to contact your RE administrator for access to this area.)
    4. In Admin, Security, open the user noted in step b and note the group to which the user belongs.
    5. Close the user and open the group noted in step d.
    6. Under Group Privileges, select Records and click Options.
    7. Under Constituent Privileges, scroll down to Prospects and mark the View, Add, and Edit checkboxes in the Financial row.
