Some things to consider when setting up an additional eStore in Blackbaud NetCommunity

- Users purchasing items from each store will need to check out twice. The eStore was designed to have separate check out functionality for each store. You may want to consider designing your web site so users do not become confused when accessing each store. You may want to add text to indicate this:
Thank for you visiting our online stores. Please note we have two separate stores and in some cases, you may see two check out carts. If this occurs, you will need to check out twice in order to receive all of your items”

- eStore statistics will be impacted by multiple stores. Stats for each store will be displayed as one in the statistics area. You may want to have a unique identifier for each product, so you can see which store it was purchased from.

  • In the future, if you wish to setup additional stores, you may use store ID numbers 22 – 29.
