It is necessary to re-enter BBPS credentials in BBMS if the BBPS password is changed with a new installation of a Blackbaud product. The BBMS portal must connect to BBPS in order to process credit cards and/or retrieve transaction data from the calling application. Once this has been completed, the credentials will not have to be re-entered unless the BBPS password is reset again.
