Attribute table not listed in Configuration, Tables

Users report they are unable to access an attribute table in Configuration. The table may be actively used on records and in some cases users can create new table entries directly on records.
This issue can arise when the specified tables are associated with optional modules that are no longer in use in Raiser's Edge, for example the 'Awards' table is linked to the RE:Volunteer module. There may be times when an organization purchases an option module for Raiser's Edge and decides to return the module which would prevent the access to certain data across the database. For questions on repurchasing an optional module please contact your Blackbaud account team.

Alternative solution:
  1. Create a Constituent query to find the constituents with the attribute.
  2. Create a Constituent export to output the information about this attribute including the Category, Description, and the Constituent Import Id
  3. Globally delete the Constituent attribute using the Constituent query
  4. Import the Constituent attribute to the Constituent records from the query
OR
  1. Create a Constituent query to find the constituents with the attribute.
  2. Open one of the records with the attribute.
  3. In the Description field, press F7 to open the table to make edits.
