1. Create a new Pledge Status Report.
  2. On the General tab, filter the date range on a specific range, ending on the date we want to calculate the balance.
  3. Mark the checkbox to create a Gift output query.
  4. On the Gift Types tab, mark the checkboxes to 'Include outstanding pledges only' and 'Calculate gift balance based on date range, campaign, fund, and appeal'.
  5. Click Preview.
  6. Save the output query when prompted.
  7. Close the report preview.
  8. Create a new Pledge Status Report.
  9. Include the Output query saved in step #6.
  10. Set the date range for the dates of the activity we want to see.
    NOTE: If you want to see the balance as of a specific date, end the date range on the date you want to calculate the balance.
  11. On the Gift Types tab, mark the checkbox to 'Calculate gift balance based on date range, campaign, fund, and appeal'.
  12. Click Preview.
