If users have recently updated their operating systems to Apple's most recent offering 10.9.5 users may experience this issue with Citrix Receiver 11.8.2.  Version 11.8.2 does not support OSX 10.9.5 however users will still be able to access their Hosted Applications.  If the keyboard becomes unresponsive after launching the Hosted application, click on another application that is running on the computer and then click back into the login prompt.  If the issue persists, users may need to wait up to 2 minutes to obtain the ability to input their password.  An alternative to this solution is to configure Windows Authentication in the application in which the user is attempting to access.  Refer to Knowledgebase Solution BB734330 to configure Windows Authentication.

This issue is a result of the Citrix Receiver incompatibility with OSX 10.9.5.  Blackbaud recommends not upgrading to this newer operating system until Citrix releases a version if Receiver that supports this operating system.

If still unable to enter a username and password into the log in screen, set up users to log in to their application using Windows Authentication: BB734330.  This will allow users to log in without entering a username and password.
