This issue can occur if Financial Edge was/is installed on the local computer.

To correct the issue for checks printed from the Blackbaud Hosting Services environment, perform the following steps:
  1. Delete the BBMICR.ttf font from \Windows\Fonts directory on the local computer.
  2. Log out of The Financial Edge and Blackbaud Hosting Services and log back in.
If the BBMICR.ttf font does not exist in the directory and is still printing incorrectly:
  1. Copy the file BBMICR.ttf from \Windows\Fonts directory of another workstation that prints correctly and move it to the same directory of the affected workstation.
  2. Log out of The Financial Edge and Blackbaud Hosting Services and log back in.
