To upload the PDF in order to assign it a URL:
  1. Navigate to Content > Content Management System
  2. Create a CMS site by clicking on New, enter a Website name and click Submit
  3. Under the Files heading click on Add a File
  4. Click the Browse button and locate the PDF file on your local machine (Please Note: The filename cannot have any spaces in it)
  5. Enter a name for the file in the Title input field
  6. Click Upload and then click the ‘Done’ button
  7. Under the Files heading click on View File Library
  8. Expand the folder that you saved your file in (often times this will be your Default Folder)
  9. Mouse over the filename of the file you just uploaded and choose Edit from the menu that pops up
  10. Copy the URL shown for the PDF (located at bottom of pop-up window)
  11. Exit CMS
To create the custom link in Kintera Thon:
  1. Navigate to Communities > Special Events > Kintera Thon 
  2. Mouse over the desired event and choose Website Info from the menu that pops up
  3. Click on the Website Features link
  4. Click Add/Edit/View Custom Menu Items
  5. Fill in the “Menu Item Name” (this will be the link text)
  6. In the “Menu Item Link” input field, paste the URL that you copied from the CMS site
  7. Click the Add button 
  8. Close the Window
  9. On the Website Features tab click Save at the bottom of the page
  10. Go back to the Webinfo Checklist
  11. Click Publish This Event Now
