The final date to process refunds is March 31, 2019 due to the Sphere End of Support. After that date, customers will be responsible for issuing refunds manually or through their new solution.
  1. Navigate to the form or event:
    • If the transaction occurred through a Friends Asking Friends Thon:
      • Navigate to Communications > Special Events > Friends Asking Friends > Kintera Thon
    • If the transaction was entered through a KinteraGala
      • Navigate to Communications > Special Events > KinteraGala
    • If the transaction was entered through a form
      • Navigate to Communities > Forms > Single Step Donation OR Registration 
  2. Hover over the initiative and select Bookkeeping.
  3. Click Manage Initiative Records
  4. Beside Show Me, select the appropriate radio button for Participants or Donors
  5. Search for the record or click Show All to view all records
  6. Click Edit next to the appropriate record
  7. Select the Delete Record From Initiative tab
  8. Mark the radio button next to Delete Record from Event and Reverse Transaction
  9. Under Reversal Type, select Reversal
    • Please Note: If this option is not present, the transaction was most likely entered offline. As a result, it is best to delete the record from the Initiative and re-process it as desired.
  10. Choose a reason or choose Other to type a custom reason
  11. Click Submit
  12. Click Yes to the prompt confirming the deletion/reversal
