Interactive Services Detection:  Enables user notification of user input for interactive services, which enables access to dialogs created by interactive services when they appear. If this service is stopped, notifications of new interactive service dialogs will no longer function and there may no longer be access to interactive service dialogs. If this service is disabled, both notifications of and access to new interactive service dialogs will no longer function.

Blackbaud recommends temporarily stopping Interactive Services Detection service to allow Queue to be installed.  Once the Queue service is installed you may re-start the Interactive Services Detection service.

How to stop or disable Interactive Services Detection:

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Double click “Administrative Tools”.
  3. Double-click “Services”.
  4. Select the “ Interactive Service Detection ” from the list and Right click on it.
  5. Select “Stop”.
  6. Right click - select Properties.
  7. In “Startup type” select “Disable”.
  8. Click “OK”.
  9. Reboot your system
