Gadgets enable nonprofit supporters to share the importance of the organization in their lives with friends, peers and colleagues on their MySpace or other social networking and community Web sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Participants can promote their events through these sites as well as through their Custom Friends Asking Friends personal pages.
1. Login to Blackbaud Sphere. 2. Go to Communities, Special Events, Kintera Thon 3. Hover over the name of the event and click Website Info 4. Scroll down to the Add Ons section 5. Click Participant HQ Settings 6. Check the Gadgets checkbox to turn on Thermometer or Honor Roll Gadgets 7. Under Community Site Status Update, check the Facebook or Twitter checkboxes to add links to the supporters personal pages. When you enable these features, the 'Email' tab in participants' personal headquarters will contain a link for Facebook and Twitter.
