Duplicate records found using Import Recurring Gifts Plug-In

You may receive an error, "Constituent ID must be unique" or duplicate records may be found when you use the Import Recurring Gifts Plug-in. 


Version 7.92 and above:
1.  Import constituent bank relationships to existing constituents
2.  Import recurring gifts to existing constituents

Version 7.91 and below:
Add the constituent ID to the duplicate criteria for Individuals following these steps:

1.    Go to Configuration, Business Rules
2.    Under Duplicate Criteria, select Individual
3.    Add ID to the list of duplicate criteria
4.    The import will then work and add the recurring gift to the existing constituent record
5.    Once the import has run, remove the ID option from the duplicate criteria in order for the duplicate function to work when saving or editing records.
