The Raiser's Edge validation screen hangs or nothing happens when logging in

After entering login credentials for The Raiser's Edge, the validation or loading screen hangs indefinitely, becomes unresponsive and nothing happens but no error message is received.

Complete the following in the order listed until the issue is resolved:

  1. Ensure the Windows user has the required NTFS permissions.
  2. Detach the Raiser's Edge database and then re-attach the Raiser's Edge database using the Blackbaud Management Console.
