When creating a new user error message "Faculty/Staff link to is required when creating a new user." This happens although you do not have the Education Edge software.
Select the user type as 'User can only access the Financial Edge' when setting up the user profile.
1. Click on Administration in General Ledger. 2. Click on Setup System Security. 3. Click on New User at the top of the page. 4. Fill in the necessary information for this particular user. 5. Select "User can only access The Financial Edge" in the User Type drop down. 6. Save and Close the user profile.
