Please do the following in order until the issue is resolved:

1. Ensure the user is selecting a bank account at the very top
2. Confirm in Banks > Edit account details that there is a default cash account defined for the system you are working in.
3. Uninstall and reinstall The Financial Edge.
4. Create a new username.
NOTE - you will not want to remove the old username so that any reports, queries, etc. created are still available.

If the issue still continues, the user's Windows Profile will need to be recreated. Please review "How to recreate a Windows user profile" for more information.
