The Files Folder is intended as a temporary storage area that allows users to move files from their hosted application to their local machines (or vice versa). Each hosting username is limited to 100 MB of space in the File Folder.  To ensure that your users' size limit quota is not exceeded, please perform the following.
  1. Delete unneeded files from your Files Folder.
  2. Attempt to export/import your files to the files folder again.

Your organization may request a temporary increase in size limit quota,  the Files Folder quota allocation  which can be increased to 500 megabytes for specific hosting usernames. To request this increase to 500 megabytes, please perform the following: Contact Support and reference this article.

Note: If additional space (beyond 500 megabytes) is required please contact your Account Executive for more information about purchasing the needed space.

Performance issues may be experienced when the number of files exceeds 2000.  We recommend routine maintenance to remove files no longer needed to ensure proper performance when using the Files folder in the Blackbaud Hosting Services environment.

For more information on using the files folder see How to use the Blackbaud Hosting Services Files folder.
