The preferred solution would be to upgrade to Professional or Developer version of Crystal Reports XI from Business Objects (the 3rd party vendor of this application). Unfortunately however, this version is no longer available as Business Objects has ceased to sell or support it as of 2009.

  1. Search the web for other possible vendors that may still have this version for sale
  2. Upgrade to Crystal Reports 2008 or Crystal Reports 2012 (see note below)
  3. Create a text file with the parameter values and then in the Crystal parameter box, select Actions > Import and select the text file.
Note: Crystal Reports 2008/2012 comes in a single edition that is the feature equivalent of the old Developer Edition. However it is not currently compatible with the Custom Report feature of any Blackbaud product. Please review the list of compatible versions. The custom report can still be run successfully within the Crystal Report application.
