Usernames must be unique in NetCommunity, this includes users under deleted accounts.

Search for the username you want to use:

  1. Navigate to Users & Security>Users
  2. Enter the username you want to use in the Filter by login: field
  3. Click Search
    • If a result is returned, this confirms the username is in user by an Active user. You will need to either change the username for the active user who is currently using the login or create a unique username for the new user.
    • If no results are returned, continue to the next step
  4. Mark the box for Deleted and click Search again
    • If a result is returned, this indicates the username is in use by a deleted user:
      1. Click the Pencil icon for the user
      2. Change the Login Name:
      3. Click Save
