The NetCommunity tab of a constituent record will only be updated with new data when appropriate for each constituent.  If there was no activity for the Blackbaud NetCommunity user record linked to the constituent record or if the constituent record is not linked to a user record in Blackbaud NetCommunity, there will not be any data to transfer.  An exception to this is when an email message is sent to the constituent using a constituent-based email list in Blackbaud NetCommunity, and the constituent record is not linked to a user record in Blackbaud NetCommunity.  In this scenario, the constituent record would not need to be linked to a user record in Blackbaud NetCommunity in order for the email data to transfer.


Based on the information above, if there is sufficient reason to suspect that data is not being transferred from Blackbaud NetCommunity to the NetCommunity tab of a constituent record, please follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
  1. Open the constituent record in The Raiser's Edge
  2. Click the NetCommunity tab of the constituent record
  3. Click the General category
  4. Verify that the Username listed in the User Information section corresponds to the user's account in Blackbaud NetCommunity.  If the wrong user account is linked to the constituent record, relink the proper user record.

By default, Blackbaud NetCommunity is configured to transfer 500 segments of data from the Blackbaud NetCommunity user record to the constituent record in The Raiser's Edge every hour.  A segment of data does not necessarily constitute all data for a specific record, so it may take several hours to several days or weeks to update the record(s).  If sufficient time has elapsed to transfer all pending data and the constituent record does not reflect the data or if you would like to increase the rate or number of segments of data to transfer during each cycle, please refer to the knowledgebase solution for the error: This constituent is not linked to an account in NetCommunity.
