1. Create an addressee/salutation for business mailings
  2. Add the addressee/salutation to the constituent's record
  3. In Mail, Fields to Include, Addressee/Salutation options, Contact, select the Business Addressee/Salutation created in step one if present, otherwise, Use Primary Addressee/Salutation

Note:  The contact record and the individual record will share the Add/Sal for the Primary Addressee and Primary Salutation so you will want this to be suited for their individual record.


When selecting the addressee/salutation in Mail, select 'From Configuration' rather than 'From Individual'. Select an addressee/salutation that does not include the spouse's name.
