The exception No valid student grades will display for a class if:
  • All the students in the class have grade values that do not exist in the translation table associated with the course/marking column
  • The class or all students have entries already existing in Grades and the Update existing entries checkbox is not marked
  • The numeric values in the Valid Numeric Grades From and To fields in the translation table do not provide a valid range
  • Numeric grades were entered in Faculty Access, but only letter grades exist in the translation table. Correct this as follows:
  • Registrar's Office 6
    1. In Grades, select the Translation Tables tab
    2. Open the translation table associated with the course/marking column being posted
    3. Associate letter grades with the correct numeric grade value and minimum numeric grade value
    4. Click OK
    5. In Utilities and Housekeeping, re-run Post from Web
  • Registrar's Office 7
    1. In Configuration - Registrar Setup, select Translation Tables
    2. Open the translation table associated with the course/marking column being posted
    3. Associate letter grades with the correct numeric equivalent and cutoff values
    4. Click Save and Close
    5. In Administration, re-run Post from FAWeb
 

Note: If you did not receive an exception when posting from Faculty Access for the Web, but the posted grades do not appear in Grades, review BB66572
