1. Create a constituent query
  2. Filter on:
Addressee/Salutations, Primary Addressee Equals [the addressee/salutation]
OR Addressee/Salutations, Primary Salutation Equals [the addressee/salutation - use the same one from above]
OR Addressee/Salutations,  All Available Addressee/Salutations, Salutation Format equals [the addressee/salutation - use the same one from above]

Note: Use the one of operator instead of equals if querying on several addressee/salutations. An addressee/salutation format can be used by record types other than constituent.  To find all instances of an addressee/salutation format in the database, create relationship, participant, and membership queries as well.
Note: Because an addressee/salutation format must be selected before making it editable, some of the names that are pulled may not be in the exact format. For example, the selected format is John H. Smith but the addressee appears as John (because it was edited.) To remove these from the query, add the filter: Addressee/Salutation, Primary Addressee or Primary Salutation Editable? equals No. The operator between the lines of criterion is AND. The filters will look like this (be sure to include the parenthesis):

    • Addressee/Salutation, Primary Addressee or Primary Salutation Editable? equals No
AND(Addressee/Salutations, Primary Addressee Equals [the addressee/salutation]
OR Addressee/Salutations, Primary Salutation Equals [the addressee/salutation - use the same one from above]
OR Addressee/Salutations,  All Available Addressee/Salutations, Salutation Format equals [the addressee/salutation - use the same one from above])
