Organizations that use the Blackbaud Payment Service (BBPS)
Users can view the credit card number as it is entered on a record. When the user saves the record, the credit card number truncates, and only the last four digits are visible. The full credit card number is stored in the Blackbaud Payment Service (BBPS), and a token will be placed on the back end of the database, linking the credit card number to that specific record.

Organizations that decline using the Blackbaud Payment Service (BBPS)
Users can view truncated credit card numbers (ie. ????????????2378) that were entered prior to updating to version 7.91. However, valid credit card numbers can not be entered in any credit card fields (in Batch, the Bio2/Org2 tab of constituent records, or on gift records) after the update. For more information, refer to If I choose not to use Blackbaud Payment Service (BBPS), can I ever store credit card information?
