If a user has made changes to the ResearchPoint database, it may be better to disable the user's account instead of deleting the user. Disabling an account will prevent the user from logging in but will save the name if it should need to be activated later. Follow the steps below to disable the account.

1. Log into ResearchPoint with Prospect Manager Rights
2. Go to the Administration tab
3. Click Organizational Units
4. Click the chevron beside the appropriate user
5. Click Edit
6. Mark (or unmark) the box Account is Disabled
7. Click Save
