FAF Thon Event donation notification emails not sent to participants

When a donor makes a donation to a participant's personal fundraising page, an email should be generated to the participant to inform of the transaction. Participants have reported that they are not receiving these notification emails.
This is a setting controlled by the participant in the Participants HQ that will allow them to enable or disable this feature.
  1. Have them log into their Participant HQ
  2. Under "My To Do List", click "Edit My Profile"
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a section labeled: Email Notifications
  4. Either check or uncheck the option: Notify me by email when somebody donates to me
  5. Click Update

    If this is set correctly and the participant is still not receiving donor notifications they should also check their email/spam/junk mail filters
