When adding the count function to an output field in query, the results increase substantially.
When processing a selection/query with an aggregate count function the default option of "Suppress Duplicate rows" is disabled therefore results in the count may have duplicate records being counted. To have query results correlate, uncheck the suppress duplicate rows options while running the query without the count function with the following steps:
1. Open the query for edit 2. Click File, Properties, Record Processing 3. Uncheck the 'Suppress duplicate rows' option 4. Process the query without the count function
