When entering the Blackbaud Payment Services credentials under Account Management > Account Configurations in the Blackbaud Merchant Services web portal, you may receive the error 'The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized' after clicking the Test Connection button. This error indicates that either the username or password entered is incorrect.
Enter the Blackbaud Payment Service credentials when prompted. These credentials are not the same as the Blackbaud Merchant Services username and password that you use to log in to the web portal.
NOTE: Resetting the Blackbaud Payment Services password can only be done by a Primary Contact or Web Administrator.
